We are working diligently to secure field space for this upcoming season but field allocations are not assigned by the park commissions until March/April.  Those allocations are based on our number of teams and number of players that have signed up.  Our goal is to provide field space in the south region (Andover) as well as the north region (Oak Grove).  Please note, we do not own our own field space and we compete each year with lacrosse, baseball, other soccer clubs and community groups for field space.  We are in the process of submitting our field requests to each city, community boards, schools and park commissions and hopefully we will get the field space we request this year.

Volunteer Coaches are desperately needed so PLEASE consider signing up with your kid’s registration to coach!!!  We can’t run this program without the many volunteer coaches needed to help these kids have a fun spring/summer season.  Please volunteer to coach, your kids will never forget the great time they will have with you during the season.

We also need a volunteer Age Group Coordinator for the U10 group.  Responsibilities include; joining the recreational committee in preparing for the upcoming season, assigning players to teams before the season, e-mail contact with U10 coaches throughout the season, misc other odds and ends to help the season run smoothly.  If you have a player in the U10 age group and are interested in volunteering, please contact the Recreational Director Joe Slagle joeslagle@yahoo.com to discuss.

Please note, the deadline to register for the Recreational spring/summer season is March 1, 2010.  Late registrations will be accepted if space is available and will be charged a $20.00 late fee.  Recreational players that decide not to play after registration is complete will receive a 50% refund up until one week before the season starts.  No refunds thereafter.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all this Spring on the fields!
